Acun Ilıcalı (born 1969 in Edirne) is a Turkish television personality, producer and sport journalist. He is also the founder and head of Acun Medya.
Acun Ilıcalı is a Turkish television personality born in Edirne, 1969; to a family who was actually from Ilıca, Erzurum. He completed his early education in Edirne. He went to high school in İstanbul at Kadıköy Maarif College and Anatolian High School. He enrolled in ELT department at Gazi University but he dropped out and decided to work on television. He has been married twice, and has 3 children. He lost his parents just after his first child was born, and got divorced from his first wife. He was 19 years old at the time. He also had a serious motorcycle accident, which his friend died but he just broke his arm.
Acun Ilıcalı started his career in television with the help of one of his friends. He stated as a sport's reporter, and got promoted because of his success. After a couple of years he started to host his own parts in some different television programs. Eventually,he founded a production company called Acun Medya in 2004. With this production company, he produced and hosted many television programs and now he is very famous and successful.
